Pastor John Burris received the Lord as his personal savior in April of 1971. He later graduated with an Associate of Science degree in Biblical Studies from Sun Grove Bible College in 1982. In October 2003, he retired from General Motors after 37 years of performing a variety of services for the company. John was ordained as an Associate Presbyter at Metro Christian Worship Center (MCWC) in 1995. Affectionately called “Dad Burris,” he provides oversight for the prayer and intercession ministries at MCWC.
