IN MEMORIAM

Pastor Christopher L. Jackson unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 14, 2009. 

Pastor Chris served faithfully as the Oversight Pastor for the Teen Life, G.I.F.T.S. (Singles Ministry), Pastoral Care, and Altar & Follow-Up Ministries.  He also served as an Associate Presbyter of MCWC.

He was the loving husband of Veeta, and the father of Kit and Kalyn.

His contribution to the Kingdom of God and the ministry of MCWC is incalculable. He is greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Please continue to support the family with prayer.

Veeta S. Jackson

Veeta accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1986. She is a 1999 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education. Presently, she is a second grade teacher. Veeta served in the U.S. Army Reserves for eight years. She ended her career as a Staff Sergeant/E-6. She currently works in leadership with the Urban Kid's Club at MCWC. Veeta was the wife of Chris and is the mother of Kit and Kalyn.
