The men’s ministry exists to provide and encourage Godly personal and inter-personal relationship development and role fulfillment targeted towards the needs of men in the context of prayer, fellowship, discussion groups, corporate work assignments, recreational and social activities and voluntary accountability.
Under the supervision of appointed seasoned leadership, the men’s ministry specific areas of focus is to help men to develop their capacity as males to become a worshiper, worker, warrior, and ultimately a wedded-one learned from the biblical creation account in the book of Genesis.
The Godly roles and responsibilities of men can be realized as a:
1. Person: cultivate and maintain healthy spiritual emotional, mental and physical fitness on a personal level primarily between men and God and then them self;
2. Partner: cultivate and maintain healthy balanced relationship with spouse (if applicable), other family members, local church family (brother and sisters), and work/school associates;
3. Parent: cultivate and maintain healthy relationships with children in their immediate family along with mentoring others that become spiritual descendants;
4. Principal: cultivate and fulfill servant leadership roles and responsibilities in the home, the household of faith and in their local community.
The men’s ministry holds quarterly breakfasts, an annual “Father-Son-Brother’s Day,” occasional “power break” Friday night meetings and other activities that facilitate the development and reproduction of healthy Godly men. Specific dates will be listed on the church calendar and in upcoming events.
